About

Building Gender & Sexually Diverse Communities

Two-Spirit, Indigiqueer and Indigenous LGBTQQIAP+ community members deserve dedicated supports within their communities. This project recognizes the needs of folxs of diverse gender and sexual identities. We are all part of the circle.

Services include:

Support for anyone that identifies or is questioning as gender or sexually diverse, or their friends, families and allies. Can also facilitate family, friend or relationship circles.

Cultural Restoration and Preservation, Circles that share teachings, and practices that allow us to support each other in leading a good life. Promote ways of knowing and healing especially on the land, and that encourage and foster well being by creating a space that promotes a positive sense of Indigenous identity and sense of belonging in our Friendship Centre and community for Two Spirit and Indigenous LGBTQQIAP+ people.

Activities & Events, and social activities to spend time together. Work to create community building with larger LGBTQQIAP+ in Grey and Bruce County community though networking and shared events and activities. Provide opportunities for folxs to get together in a relaxed social space and to access resources and support on topics and issues that relate to sexual and romantic connections, healthy relationships, safer sex and gender.

Outreach for those that want to know more about Gender & Sexually Diversity and how to facilitate engagement and more supportive communities. Can do this by facilitating workshops or by consultation.
